Moied A. Hune (born Mouaid Abdulgader A. Houni; September 1999) is a Libyan filmmaker and screenwriter whose work is characterized by its narrative depth and visual storytelling. Born and raised in Tripoli, with ancestral roots in the historic town of Hun, Hune’s cinematic journey began with a childhood fascination for the silver screen. He took his first steps into production in 2015, releasing his debut short project at just sixteen years old. Since then, he has dedicated himself to developing a distinct directorial voice that bridges the gap between traditional Libyan narratives and contemporary global cinema. Known for his meticulous approach to screenwriting, Hune focuses on themes of human resilience and the complexities of modern life.
